Can ChloraSorb be used around all livestock species?
ChloraSorb is currently being used in swine, poultry, and dairy facilities. However, ChloraSorb may be used in other areas of livestock production as well.
How much ChloraSorb is needed to apply an entire building?
The proper amount of ChloraSorb required depends on the size of the building. For example a 51’ x 191’ swine finisher requires approximately 120 lbs., or 3 buckets of ChloraSorb. For more specific application estimates regarding your buildings, feel free to contact Ascension Ag.
What type of blower is used for the blower application method?
A Toro 51619 Ultra Electric Blower Vac works best for blower applications. Toro blowers can be purchased through Ascension Ag at a discounted price.
Can I apply ChloraSorb with my common leaf blower?
No. The Toro 3-in-1 blower may look similar to a standard leaf blower, but common leaf blowers function differently. A 3-in-1 blower has a specially designed intake tube which is used to suction up ChloraSorb. Avoid common leaf blowers and use the Toro 51619 Ultra Electric Blower Vac.
What type of applicator scoop is used for the hand application method?
Ascension Ag has a specially designed perforated scoop for ChloraSorb application. The perforated scoop allows the user to obtain the optimal combination of product flow and coverage. Applicator scoops may be purchased through Ascension Ag.
How is ChloraSorb packaged?
ChloraSorb is packaged in an airtight, durable 5-gallon bucket, containing 40 lb. of product. Once the bucket is empty, wash it thoroughly and use around the farm.
