Inspired by entrepreneurial role models and driven by a shared passion for improving the agriculture industry, lifelong friends Jeb Gent and William Underwood founded Ascension Ag in 2019. As Iowa natives, they understand that a safe and sustainable food system is vital for global well-being and the success of rural America.
Their collective expertise, gained from years of working across various sectors of the agriculture industry, fueled their desire to create a company dedicated to providing value for farmers. They are committed to establishing a safe and sustainable food system, recognizing its importance for global livelihood and the prosperity of rural communities. At Ascension Ag, the well-being of farmers and the communities they serve is paramount, with every interaction driven by a steadfast commitment to creating value.
Jeb leads sales and product development at Ascension Ag, developing strong customer relationships and innovating solutions. He takes pride in understanding producer’s needs and translating them into new and creative solutions. In his free time Jeb enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

William oversees operations and manufacturing at Ascension Ag, ensuring that products exceed all quality standards and orders are fulfilled on time. He focuses on continuous improvement and growth. Outside of work, William enjoys attending Iowa State sporting events and traveling with his wife.

At Ascension Ag, our mission is to advance livestock biosecurity through innovative and simplified product solutions. We develop and manufacture products that are focused on increased effectiveness, safety, and ease of use. Our goal is to reduce on-farm labor and production costs by preventing the spread of disease and supporting essential biosecurity practices.
